Roxys Latest in Womens Fashion
Tis the season to be flawless…. yes Christmas 2009 is upon us and we’re all wanting to look fabulous as we enter the party season or set off for those sandy winter break beaches or snowy slopes. Roxy is at the forefront of women’s style and is especially great for those of us who enjoy our holidays to be a little more active and board based.
Its hard to believe that many of us are older than the Roxy brand itself as amazingly it was only debuted in late 1990, born from an idea at Quiksilver that females were being largely under-represented in the boarding market. The firm saw an opportunity for development and a gap in the market, firstly it was just the swimwear, then came sportswear in 1991, followed by a denim line and key snow wear pieces. Roxy is now a $400 million lifestyle brand offering products for every aspect of the active girls life. Roy is positioned as “Daring, Confident, naturally beautiful, fun, alive: Roxy”
Roxy style is all about standing out with bright motif’s and designer decal’s, but with a focus on active girls who want something that is both good looking but practical. So why choose Roxy? Well they not only deliver both durability and style but the price tags aren’t irrational either.
For those of us that like our sports to be snow-involved, Roxy’s snow range includes ski pants, hats and jackets to make sure that up on those slopes your style is ice cool – but you remain snug and warm. If you need something to pack all this gear in, there is a wide range of rucksacks and suitcases on offer. Roxy aims to be something of a one stop shop whether you are a snow or surf girl, even for those of us that simply prefer to lay about and watch others take part in the sports, there is a wide range on offer of tee’s, skirts, jeans and shoes.
With an unusually high emphasis on brighter colours this autumn / winter season, Roxy’s bright motifs and flexible layering options could find their way into a range of combinations in your wardrobe. Many Roxy lines have long since been available in a variety of vibrant colours. Key colours this year include blue, orange and purple.
The brand has its fair share of celebrity endorsements, including actress Kristen Stewart. Roxy also sponsors several professional sports women that are leaders in their respective disciplines. These include Lisa Wilk, a national show boarding champion and Lisa Anderson, with four World Championship Title surfing victories to her credit.
However, you don’t have to be a celebrity or indeed have the budget of an A-lister in order to buy Roxy womens clothes. Whether this Christmas will see you chasing waves, whizzing down the slopes or simply enjoying watching other people do so, you should find some good options in the current Roxy range.
